The ApparelHub TikTok Shop Integration Is Live: Setup, Sync, and Multi-Store Fulfillment

TikTok Shop is live in ApparelHub. The app is approved and listed in the TikTok Shop App Marketplace, the access gate is off, and any ApparelHub account can connect a seller account today. Once it's connected, your products publish as real marketplace listings, TikTok orders land in ApparelHub on their own, and tracking goes back to the buyer without you opening Seller Center. You can also point more than one ApparelHub store at the same TikTok shop, which is the part most tools don't handle.

This is the practical guide: how to connect it, what actually gets sent when you sync a product, the handful of things that cause a rejected listing, and how the multi-store setup works.

What does the ApparelHub TikTok Shop integration do?

It closes the same loop we already run for Shopify, WooCommerce, and Wix, with marketplace rules layered on top:

If you want the story of how it got built, including why a marketplace is harder to integrate with than a storefront, we wrote that up in from prompt to TikTok Shop.

How do you connect TikTok Shop to ApparelHub?

There are two doors, and they end in the same place.

From ApparelHub. Open the store you want to sell from, find the Channels card on the store dashboard, and look under Available to connect. Click Connect on the TikTok Shop tile. You'll be handed to TikTok's own authorization screen, you approve access as the seller, and you come back to a connected channel. ApparelHub reads your shop's region during that handshake and talks to the right TikTok endpoints from then on, so you don't pick a region yourself.

From the TikTok Shop App Marketplace. If you find ApparelHub in the marketplace and install it from there, TikTok sends you to us without knowing which of your stores you meant. So we show a consent screen with your shop's details, seller name, and region, plus a picker listing every store you can use, grouped by workspace. You choose the store, confirm, and the channel attaches there. That picker matters if you run several brands: installing from TikTok's side doesn't force everything into one default store.

You need an active TikTok Shop seller account before either path works. ApparelHub connects to a shop you already have, it doesn't create one for you.

What gets sent to TikTok when you sync a product?

Syncing a product publishes it as a marketplace listing. Here's what leaves ApparelHub and where it comes from.

Listing field What we send Where it comes from
Title Product name, trimmed to TikTok's limit Your product
Description Product description, falling back to the name Your product
Category A current TikTok leaf category Auto-resolved from the product, overridable
Images Up to 9, display image plus gallery and mockups Your generated mockups
Variants One SKU per color and size combination Your product variants
Seller SKU AH- plus the variant id Generated by ApparelHub
Price Per variant, in the shop's currency Your retail price
Stock A high fixed quantity Print on demand default
Package weight 0.50 lb by default ApparelHub default
Package size 10 x 8 x 2 inches by default ApparelHub default
Size chart Template or image, when configured Your TikTok Seller Center

Two of those deserve a note.

Stock is deliberately high. Nothing you sell here is inventory sitting in a warehouse, so publishing a real count would only create fake out-of-stock states. We publish a large number and let the provider handle supply.

The package defaults are apparel-safe, not exact. TikTok rejects a listing with a zero dimension, so we send sane values rather than nothing. If you're shipping something heavier or bulkier than a shirt, adjust the weight and dimensions on the listing in Seller Center after it lands. Those numbers affect the buyer's shipping quote, so a mug or a blanket is worth correcting.

Why do TikTok listings get rejected, and how do you fix it?

A marketplace inspects what you list, which is the real difference from a storefront. Almost every failure we see falls into one of these buckets, and each one comes back as a specific message rather than a generic failure.

One nice side effect worth knowing: before creating a listing, ApparelHub looks for an existing one carrying the same AH- SKU. If it finds a live listing, it edits that one instead of creating a duplicate. So a re-sync after a failed attempt, or a product you'd already pushed once, won't leave you with two copies competing in search.

How do orders and tracking flow back?

TikTok notifies ApparelHub when an order changes state, and a sweep runs every 15 minutes across every connected shop as a backstop. The redundancy is on purpose: a single missed notification shouldn't mean a missed order, and the sweep only looks at what changed since the last one, so nothing gets processed twice.

Orders come in when they're ready to be shipped, including partially shipping ones. Cancellations are picked up and applied. States that sit after fulfillment, like delivered or completed, aren't ingested as new work.

Payment is the marketplace's job. TikTok collects from the buyer, so the order arrives in ApparelHub already marked paid, and no card is processed on our side. That matters for your books: profit margin tracking treats a TikTok order as revenue collected by the channel, with your provider cost on the other side.

Going the other way, when a package ships from your provider, ApparelHub sends the tracking number back to TikTok and matches the carrier against the ones your shop has enabled. If a shipment carries no matching carrier name, it falls back to an enabled provider so the buyer still gets a tracking number rather than silence.

Can several ApparelHub stores feed one TikTok shop?

Yes, as long as they belong to the same ApparelHub account. This is the setup we designed for, and it's worth explaining because it's easy to get wrong.

A TikTok shop is a single seller identity. But plenty of operators split their catalog across several ApparelHub stores: one per brand, or one per fulfillment provider, or one per client if you're an agency. You shouldn't have to collapse that structure just to sell on TikTok.

So connecting the same shop to a second store in the same account is allowed. Here's how it stays coherent:

The one hard boundary: a shop connected under one ApparelHub account can't be connected by a different account. That's a deliberate anti-hijack rule, and it's the same rule we apply to every channel.

If you're weighing which channels to run at once, our multi-channel sync guide walks through the tradeoffs between a marketplace and a storefront you own.

What to watch after you connect

Authorization expires. TikTok access is short-lived by design. ApparelHub refreshes ahead of expiry and TikTok warns us before it lapses, so in normal operation you'll never notice. If a refresh does fail, order polling backs off instead of hammering, and you fix it with Re-authorize in the channel card's menu.

An inactive shop pauses sync, then resumes. If TikTok flags your shop as inactive, order polling backs off rather than erroring on a loop, and it picks back up automatically once the shop is active again. No reconnect needed.

The channel card tells you if traffic is arriving. A status pill and a delivery indicator show whether TikTok's order notifications are landing, so you can tell a quiet week from a broken connection.

Per-product state is visible. Each product row shows a TikTok Shop chip: Sync, Syncing, Synced, Failed, Drifted, Removed upstream, or Orphaned. Failed is clickable to retry, and Removed upstream means the listing is gone on TikTok's side while ApparelHub still thinks it's live.

What ApparelHub actually does here

To be straight about what's live today. Sales channels: Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, and now TikTok Shop. Fulfillment providers: Printful, Printify, and Gelato, connected with your own accounts, and we take no cut of your print margin. You can pair any channel with any provider, and one product can sit on several channels at once.

Around that, you get margin guardrails that can hold an order instead of fulfilling it at a loss, order reconciliation that pulls payment and cancellation state back from the channel and pushes fulfillment out to it, and a shared storefront model that lets several stores sell through one shop.

The whole pipeline also has an agent surface. Design, product creation, listing, and order management can be driven by your own AI agent through our API, our connector, or our Claude skill, which means the TikTok setup above can be scripted rather than clicked. There's more at apparelhub.ai/agents.

What we won't claim: TikTok has its own compliance and category rules, and a listing can still be rejected for reasons that live entirely on their side. What we can do is fill in the fields correctly, tell you exactly what was rejected, and let you re-sync without rebuilding the product.

FAQ

Do I need a TikTok Shop seller account before connecting? Yes. ApparelHub connects to a shop you already own and have approved as a seller. If you're not set up on TikTok yet, do that first, then come back and connect.

Will my TikTok listings show as out of stock? No. Because these are made to order, we publish a high stock number rather than a real count, so listings stay available and the provider handles supply.

I already have listings I created in Seller Center. Do they break? No. Listings you made yourself keep running, and their orders route to the store you've designated as primary for that shop. If one of them happens to carry an ApparelHub SKU from an earlier sync, we'll edit that listing rather than publish a duplicate.

Can two different ApparelHub accounts connect the same TikTok shop? No. A shop belongs to the account that connected it. Several stores inside that account can share it, but a second account gets refused.

Do I have to fix the package weight and dimensions? Only if your product is meaningfully different from a shirt. The defaults exist because TikTok rejects empty ones, and they're safe for standard apparel. For heavier or bulkier products, correct them on the listing so shipping quotes stay accurate.

Get started

If you already sell on TikTok Shop, connecting takes about a minute: open your store, find the Channels card, and click Connect on the TikTok Shop tile. If you're new here, create an account, connect your print provider, build a product, and push it to every channel you sell on at once.

And if you'd rather have an agent do the clicking, start at apparelhub.ai/agents.
