Product Update: TikTok Shop is live, Gelato joins, and a summer of shipping
We went quiet on these updates after July, and the product did not. The last three months were the busiest stretch we've had: a new sales channel, a new fulfillment provider, a way to plug ApparelHub directly into your AI assistant, and a long list of fixes that make the whole pipeline from prompt to shipped order run with fewer dead ends. Here's the catch-up.
TikTok Shop is live
TikTok Shop is now a full sales channel in ApparelHub, listed in the TikTok App Marketplace. Connect your seller account from any store, sync your products, and orders flow back into ApparelHub and on to your fulfillment provider like any other channel, with tracking pushed back to the buyer when it ships.
We didn't stop at "it syncs." TikTok grades every listing, and a low grade quietly costs you reach. So ApparelHub now reads TikTok's own quality diagnosis for each product and shows you what it flagged and how to fix it. Where TikTok suggests better search terms, you can apply them in one click. Where TikTok flags a title as too short but offers nothing, we give you a compliant suggestion built from the product's real details instead of leaving you guessing.
A few other things make TikTok listings land cleanly the first time:
- Size charts built from your provider's real measurements, so you're not typing them in by hand.
- The brand of the blank fills itself in. If your tee is a Comfort Colors 1717, the listing says so, pulled straight from the catalog.
- Category placement that matches the product. A t-shirt lands in t-shirts, not somewhere odd.
- The fields TikTok asks for, asked once. Compliance and listing fields are shown as a clear form instead of failing a sync later. We never fill in a legal attestation on your behalf; those answers stay yours.
Gelato joins Printful and Printify
Gelato is now a fulfillment provider alongside Printful and Printify. It prints locally across a large network of production hubs, which can mean shorter shipping times and better costs for buyers outside the US. Browse its catalog, generate photoreal mockups, build products, and send orders the same way you already do, with real per-variant costs shown before you price anything.
Choosing a provider is still your call. ApparelHub doesn't take a cut of your print margin, so the right provider is simply the one that fits your product and your customers.
Use ApparelHub from inside Claude
You can now add ApparelHub as a connector in Claude and run your store by talking to it. Add one URL, sign in once, approve the connection, and your assistant can design, build products, check orders, and look at your numbers on your behalf, inside your own account and your own limits. Revoke it any time from your API keys page. The step by step setup guide takes about a minute, and there's a ChatGPT version too.
If you'd rather work from your own agent or terminal, the open Claude skill, the MCP server, and our recipes are all public and kept in step with every feature on this page. Everything below is available to an agent the moment it's available to you. More on the AI Agents page.
Analytics that show what actually happened
There's now an Analytics section with revenue, orders, and margin over time, broken down by product type, product, sales channel, and fulfillment provider. Every report exports to CSV. Margins are only computed where we know the real cost, and we tell you how much of the picture that covers rather than guessing.
New this quarter, Channel Performance shows what shoppers saw, not just what sold: views and clicks per listing, per channel, so you can tell a listing nobody finds from one people find and skip. And a What we changed tab keeps a record of every optimization applied to a listing, so you can see whether it moved anything.
If you run stores for clients, the Clients view rolls the same numbers up per workspace.
Listing photos from your real mockup
A storefront with nothing but flat mockups looks like every other print-on-demand shop. You can now manage a product's full image gallery (add your own photos, reorder them, pick the cover) and generate on-model, lifestyle, flat-lay, and detail shots with AI.
The important part: those shots are made from your product's actual mockup, not invented from a text prompt. A made-up product photo is a fast way to get a listing taken down or a chargeback, so if a product doesn't have a mockup yet, we'll say so instead of faking one. Each channel gets images in the order you set, within its own limits.
Turn a brand idea into a collection
Describe a whole brand in the design box, not just one shirt, and ApparelHub now gives you a set of distinct concepts you can browse, render, and build into products, instead of keeping only the first image. Designs also come out ready to print: if a design will print with its background, we tell you before it's on a garment, not after.
Want an agent to do it for you? Our open source ApparelHub Recipes are ready made blueprints you hand to your own AI agent with one line. The seasonal collection builder takes a theme and builds out a full collection, and agency brand intake turns a client's brand brief into a starting catalog. Each one configures itself against your account the first time it runs.
On the image side, you can pick an aspect ratio when you generate, change an existing design's ratio by padding or cropping, and edit designs with more of the image models. GPT Image 2 is now available too. Uploading a small image no longer fails outright; we upscale it and offer to redraw it with AI if you want a sharper version.
Orders: fix mistakes, report problems, never lose a paid order
- Edit a draft order. Wrong size or a missing item? Add or remove items on an order before it's confirmed, without cancelling and starting over.
- Report a printing problem. If an order arrives misprinted or damaged, report it from the order with photos. ApparelHub prepares the details your fulfillment provider asks for, tracks the claim, and closes it out when the refund or reprint comes through.
- Orders a channel is reviewing are held, not hidden. When a sales channel puts an order under review, it shows up in your hold queue instead of disappearing.
- Paid orders reach the manufacturer. We closed several gaps where a paid order could stall between the channel and production, and we now notice when a provider stops reporting on an order instead of letting it sit.
- See who fulfills what. Every order shows its fulfillment provider at a glance.
A cleaner place to work
- Sign in with Google, or log in with your username instead of your email.
- Dark mode across the app, with a toggle in the menu.
- A redesigned Store Dashboard, and app pages that use the full width of your screen.
- A first run that ends with a product you can sell. New accounts go from one prompt to a real product, then to connecting a provider and a storefront, with no dead ends.
- Notification settings that let you choose what you hear about by email.
- One storefront, several stores. Connect the same Shopify or WooCommerce shop to more than one ApparelHub store, and each order's items go to the store that owns them.
- Auto-place in the Designer puts your design where it belongs on the product, including the awkward ones like bags, mugs, and socks.
The WooCommerce shipping plugin is on WordPress.org
Our free ApparelHub Shipping plugin for WooCommerce is now in the official WordPress plugin directory. Install it from your WordPress admin like any other plugin and your checkout shows accurate shipping rates from your fulfillment provider.
What's next
The throughline hasn't changed: fewer manual steps between an idea and a delivered order, whether you're clicking through it yourself or handing it to an agent. We'll keep adding channels and providers, and we'll keep making every one of them something an agent can run end to end.
Everything above is live on apparelhub.ai. Sign in and connect TikTok Shop, or head to the AI Agents page to bring your assistant along.
